Services

Longevity Training

For those who wish to take an active role in their physical health and want someone in their corner to keep themselves active.  This will give you your best shot at reducing falls, strength declines and progressive deconditioning common with an untrained aged person.  I provide in-home balance, strength, agility and endurance training based on your specific goals and needs. As a part of your sessions, you will be provided with quarterly balance, strength and endurance testing to monitor your progress over time. Please note, since this training is preventative (yet highly beneficial!), insurance does not cover this service; payment is accepted via cash, HSA, or FSA.

Meet your PT:
Dr. Brian Richards

Richards_Photo.JPG Dr. Brian Richards DPT PT

I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Cleveland State University in 2017 and completed a Geriatric Physical Therapy Residency at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center. With over seven years of experience across a variety of care settings, I’ve discovered my true passion: helping seniors build strength, improve balance, and enhance mobility—all from the comfort of their own homes.

I specialize in training programs designed specifically for the aging body, as well as for conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, cardiopulmonary, and orthopedic diagnoses. My goal is to deliver care that’s high-quality, research-supported, and truly effective—so each client can reach their full physical potential.

I’ve built this service with one guiding principle: to offer the kind of care I’d want for my own parents

Sharon P

"Excellent physical therapy for my mother. Brian Richards is an awesome therapist!!"

Gerald

"Brian worked with my 94 year old Dad who has had alzheimers for over a decade and had fallen twice within a week (with a walker). His "bedside manner" is incredible. In fact, my Dad's 97 year old wife who does not like having strangers in the home, looked forward to his visits so much that all she ever did was tell everyone about how she couldn't wait for Brian's next visit."

Kathy M

"I highly recommend Brian if you are looking for a PT in your home.  He's very knowledgeable and makes the sessions feel like you have accomplished something.  He explains everything very well and pushes you through just enough."
